In the philosophy of consciousness and mind, one topic still widely debated is the “Hard Problem of Consciousness” proposed by David Chalmers. This problem also closely relates to qualia, phenomenal consciousness and philosophical zombies. In this article, I will explain why I think the hard problem (and all of the related concepts I mentioned above) is related to a way of thinking that detaches us from our experiences, and simply walking away from the problem is probably the best solution to these problems.
